  1. I look forward to reading more of your work. I admire your skill. I love it when I find authors that inspire imagination as you do. Thanks, I will tell my students about you.

    • Thank you so much! I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed it! If you don’t mind me asking, what grade/subject do you teach?

  2. Hello, ma’am! I just wanted to let you know that I am a book reviewer on YouTube who discovered your book and fell absolutely IN LOVE with it on the first read. I couldn’t put it down. I’ve left a link to my channel in case you wanted to watch the review (gush), but if you don’t (or can’t) then please allow me to tell you how amazing of a writer and storyteller you are and that I am looking forward to everything you publish later on.
    Have a blessed Evening,
    Shannon

    • I have to tell you that this brought tears to my eyes. I can’t tell you how much I needed this tonight. I’m almost done with the second book in the Becoming Beauty trilogy, and I’ve had a lot of self-doubt and angst over getting it done right. What’s amazing is that I had prayed not five minutes before seeing your comment that God would use my writing somehow in a way that glorified Him. Your kind words were medicine to my anxious soul!

  3. Hi Brittany,
I just wanted to send encouraging words to you! I have truly loved your books! I read a lot! And it’s hard to find clean romances that have a unique twist to them. Your stories are so well written, I can’t put them down! I love that you never forget to bring God ( The Maker ) into your stories. I loved that you referenced the Before Beauty story in your The Girl in the Red Hood. (I wonder how many people will catch that?) I can’t wait for the next installment of The Beauty series!! As well as what else you come out with! I want you to know that when I read your bio I prayed for you! I know the struggles with different disorders well.
    Many Blessings to you!

    • Thank you so much! I really needed this encouragement today. It’s funny, I don’t set out to write pure allegory, but I believe that whatever is in your heart will come out of the pen. God has impressed His grace onto me repeatedly (and continues to do so), so I can’t help but write about it in my stories! He’s just so faithful!

Also, it just tickles me to know you found that Easter egg. I’ve only had a few readers find it thus far. 😉

  4. I love reading old stories with new explanations. I find it makes the story more believable. I will definitely share this with my grandchildren and great grandchildren.

    • Aw, how sweet! Thank you! That’s exactly why I write a lot of my stories. They don’t make much sense in their original forms. I need to know why they happened the way they did!

  5. I ordered 3 more books but I did not get my books I did not have a password I only subscribe to your address so can you let me have a password so I can order more books I love theses books thank you

  6. Thank you… Loved this story since I was a child.. It inspired me to be an artist So happy that you have brought it back to life more alive than ever before. Well done! Thank you again.

  7. Hi. I read your book Girl in the Red Hood in wattpad. I love it so much. I couldn’t read the other chapters though. Is there a site where I can download the rest of the book for free?

    • Thank you! Yes, unfortunately, I recently pulled out of Wattpad. My time is limited (a toddler will do that to you), so I’m trying to narrow my focus to media outlets I can participate in often. I don’t have Girl in the Red Hood for download currently, but if you sign up for my email list, you get Before Beauty (my retelling of Beauty and the Beast) for free 🙂 GITRH is also available on Amazon for $2.99 or available on Kindle Select.

    • Yay! I needed that today 🙂 Thank you so much! And I’m so sorry for taking so long to respond. We just moved, and I’m finally finding a new “normal” schedule. Lol. Are you on my mailing list? (I send out free short stories every so often to my readers.)

    • Dear Lena,

Thank you so much! I’m so glad to hear that! Forgive me for taking so long to respond. We had just moved when you contacted me, and I didn’t have internet at that point. What are your personal favorite fairy tales? (If you don’t mind me asking?) 🙂

    • I apologize for the late response. I actually just confirmed a date with my editor today! Silent Mermaid will be published March 7th, 2017! I hope this helps. 🙂

  8. Your works take fairy tale retellings to a whole new level! I am absolutely hooked to your writing.Your book Before beauty adds a completely new dimension to my favourite fairy tale.I love the way you transformed the original story into a new one without changing the important original elements. I wish that I could write like you someday.Thank you for your amazing work of art.

    • Aw, thank you so much! That makes my heart happy! I’m curious, have you read Blinding Beauty yet? And as to writing, keep writing, too! You just might amaze yourself! 😉

      • Not yet, but I am definitely looking forward to it. I really love your writing style and the way you draw the readers into your story. It’s incredible! And thank you so much for the encouragement. It’s great to know that you are an amazing person besides being an amazing author. I really look up to you

  9. I am in the middle of reading Before Beauty and am loving it. So far it has been a clean read and something that I can recommend. Keep up the good work.

    • Thanks so much! I hope you continue to enjoy it! I’m on to writing new characters now, but Isa and Evar are still some of my favorites 😉 And I’m glad you like clean fiction because that’s all I write! Lol. 🙂

  10. I am loving your books and am about to start on the third one. I can’t wait to start the others but unfortunately they are not available on kobo yet.

    • Hi there! Thank you so much! Sorry for the wait. I didn’t see this for some reason. Books 1-4 are now available on Kobo, and the others will follow! If you’re not already on my newsletter list, you can join and I’ll let you know as soon as the next books are available on all the bookstores as well.

    • Hi, Cathy!

That is my ultimate goal, as I personally love audiobooks. Unfortunately, they aren’t in my production line-up for this year, but maybe in 2018 or 2019. I’ll definitely let my newsletter list and my Facebook readers know as soon as they’re on the way. I’m anxious for it, too!

  11. I love your stories. I have Book 1, 4 and 5 in paperback. Are you going to release 2 and 3 also? I also have them all on kindle. Can’t wait for another story.

    • Aw, thank you! I really appreciate that! And yes! I had taken them down in order to get the covers and interiors redesigned, but as of this morning, they’re available once again! You can find them on Amazon or Createspace. Thanks for asking and thank you for your sweet words!

    • Thank you so much! I appreciate the words (and time), especially when you were so tired! And don’t worry about the naysayers on your sound quality. It was definitely understandable, and some people just have to pick at others in order to be happy. I’m so glad you liked the book! Thanks again!

  12. Brittany, that is incredible how you are able to juggle your young family and write! What a dream come true! Before Beauty was magnificent! I am impressed by your website, as well.

    • Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! It’s not easy, but nothing worth pursuing ever is. God has been gracious, and I love my work! 😉

  13. I stumbled upon your retelling of Beauty and the beast and oh my word i fell in love!! You truly are an amazing story teller!!! I just finished your advanced readers copy of The Green Eyes Prince and I can tell you right now this has got to be my favorite telling of the frog prince! I can’t wait to read more of your books!!

    • Aw, thank you so much! I needed that encouragement today. 😀 I’m so glad you enjoyed both of them! Hopefully, you’ll find the rest enjoyable as well! If I’m correct, you said your favorite fairy tale is Beauty and the Beast, right? What’s your second favorite? 🙂
