I am first and forever a reader. I spent seven years as a beta reader and book reviewer under the social media handle @ourbookconfessions and will cherish the friendships I made in that chapter of my life.
I can be found reading anything from fantasy to cozy mystery to rom-com to historical fiction as long as it has a clean romance subplot.
I received my degree in Recreational Management and Youth Leadership with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation and love to be outdoors, rock climbing, hiking, and kayaking.
Though my degree wasn’t in writing, I loved my creative writing courses and have attended as many workshops and conferences as I could since deciding to get the stories in my head down on paper. I published my first novel in January 2025 and have since published one more novel and a novella. Book three in The Fairy Tales Rewoven Series comes out later this year.
Welcome to the Fairy Tales Rewoven Series where identities are unthreaded and rewoven.
The characters in the Fairy Tales Rewoven series are twisted/mashed up versions of one or more characters from some of your most beloved fairy tales. Relying on the bones of the story and the traits of the characters I’ve woven a tale unlike any you’ve read before.

Meet Emberly
She is a twist on Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. You first meet her in The Truth in the Tale where she has an unfortunate encounter with apple cider.
Included below is the synopsis of her book and a recipe card for you to download.
What if the fairy tale characters you know are simply rewoven versions of who they once were?
One catalyst sets in motion a tale as old as time—spinning Snow White and Sleeping Beauty into Emberly, an orphan with paranormal dreams.
In a world where memories evolve and conflict arises, finding trust and gaining confidence might be their undoing.
Racing against time and lost memories, they must discover the magic of real life that occurs between once upon a time and happily ever after.
Welcome to Ermenya
In the second Fairy Tales Rewoven book Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Hook and the lost boys meet not in Neverland, but in a town called Ermenya.
When a trip to the seaside ends in tragedy, young Jamison flees from the one person meant to protect him. Finding refuge with a crew of forgotten children, he struggles to figure out if their leader is someone to follow or a pirate lord to be feared.
Ten years later, present-day Jamison is a single father trying to give his daughter a better life as the town apothecary. In a town scourged by the red rash, Jamison fights to keep hope alive against the ticking of the clock. Weaving tales and offering healing powders, Jamison inspires the children of Ermenya to believe they might yet outlive the plague that stole his young wife.
The unexpected appearance of a long-lost friend reveals a series of threats tracing back to his fractured past. Jamison would do anything to keep his little Moira safe from them all—but pirates have a way of carrying grudges, and not all mothers are good.

Meet Xander
Xander is a twist on Puss in Boots and the Brave Little Tailor. But he also shows up in another well-known fairytale in Fairy Tales Rewoven 1.5.
This novella occurs between books one and two, but is best read after book 2.
The Flaw in the Inheritance
When Livy and Xander are left alone at an inn near Orelia, they have to rely on each other to get Xander back to the capital before conflict erupts. But their road back is bumpier than they expect. They quickly find that not all roads lead home and sometimes listening to your heart is a distraction that could cost you everything.
Leave a comment below if you can guess which other fairy tale is rewoven into this story from the riddle below?
I am the unnoticed ember
in a home where kindness is ignored.
A single night rewrites my story,
where identity becomes my fate.
A borrowed hour crowns me,
then steals me back again.
When time itself becomes my enemy
As I step briefly into grace.
You can find The Flaw in the Inheritance for free in the final promotion at the end of this party.
